On October 15, 2012 the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) Board of Directors elected Joseph Borg, Director of the Alabama Securities Commission (ASC), as a Non-Regional Director on the Board. Since becoming Director of the Alabama Securities Commission in 1994, Borg has gained national prominence in closing down microcap stock brokerage firms and criminally prosecuting investment crooks. Due to his successful record of prosecuting financial crimes, he has been described in Forbes as “Wall Street’s Worst Nightmare.”
