Winter 2013 issue of NW3C’s Informant magazine features articles on human trafficking, traumatic stress, sovereign citizens and more.
The Winter 2013 issue of NW3C’s Informant magazine is available for viewing online. This issue features articles on a range of topics, including human trafficking, vicarious trauma, tobacco smuggling and sovereign citizens.
This issue also highlights NW3C’s Instructor Development Program, one of the organization’s most successful methods for maximizing the number of individuals who can receive much needed computer forensic training. Under the program, NW3C trained 1,100 officers, who were then able to offer NW3C’s computer forensics curriculum to over 13,000 other law enforcement professionals nationwide.
The magazine also includes coverage of a new NW3C computer forensics training course devoted to Apple® mobile devices. The popularity of iPhones® and iPads® has attracted criminals who have targeted these devices due to the wealth of personal information that they contain. NW3C is also developing other classes that will provide investigators with training in Apple MacIntosh® devices and the MAC OS X® operating system.
Published quarterly, NW3C’s Informant is the leading magazine for professionals who support the prevention, investigation and prosecution of economic and high-tech crimes. To access the online magazine, click here.
