Cyber Investigation 101 - Secure Techniques for Onsite Preview

This 2 day course is intended for detectives and officers, as well as probation/parole staff, conducting “knock and talk” interviews or spot checks and home visits. This class utilizes TUX4N6™, a Linux-based bootable tool that can preview a suspect’s computer system for potential evidence and osTriage, a Windows-based tool designed to look for  information to be used in interviews or discovery of evidence.

It is recommended to bring an external hard drive if you want to leave the class with the same setup we teach in class.

PREREQUISITES: Each student registering for this class will be checked to ensure they have taken the required training: Cyber-Investigation 100 - ISEE  (either classroom or online) and the online training Basic Computer Skills.
