Targeting Investment Fraud Class List

Targeting Investment Fraud

Targeting Investment Fraud is a one-day training seminar for law enforcement personnel to provide the knowledge and tools to respond to this growing crime problem. The training will help simplify the often complex-seeming criminal activity of investment fraud, and give the attendees resources to use to pursue successful investigations. This training seminar is appropriate for detectives as well as patrol officers, since patrol officers are often the first to talk with a victim of investment fraud. In addition, there will be instruction and guidance about the right questions to ask that can help both the victim and the potential investigation. NW3C is partnering with the FINRA Foundation (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority - FINRA) to bring this training to law enforcement.

The training will include:

Why you should care about investment fraud
The basics of securities and investment fraud
Investigative steps – from complaint to prosecution
Resources for investigations and prevention
Q & A with regional experts

There is 1 Targeting Investment Fraud class currently scheduled.
