NW3C Awards Montgomery County Police Department, MD Electronic Crimes Unit for Certification

The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) presented Montgomery County Police Department, MD Electronic Crimes Unit for the attainment of professional certification through NW3C’s certification program.

RICHMOND, VA, May 21, 2020 - The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) presented Montgomery County Police Department, MD Electronic Crimes Unit for the attainment of professional certification through NW3C’s certification program.

Montgomery County Police Department had seven individuals successfully complete the requirements to becoming Certified Cyber Crime Examiners (3CE).

NW3C’s certification program uses an innovative point system, requiring applicants to submit appropriate documentation proving their completion of related education, training, work experience, and other certifications. Each applicant must obtain 25 points to successfully obtain certification. You can use their Quick Check tool to see if you may qualify.
