RICHMOND, VA, June 10, 2020 - The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) has entered into a new partnership with the National Native American Law Enforcement Association (NNALEA). This strategic partnership will meet the unique needs of tribal law enforcement as it relates to identifying and investigating economic and high-tech crime.

NNALEA conducts training seminars, conferences, and research into educational methods for the benefit of Native American law enforcement professionals. NW3C, a training and technical assistance provider for state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement, plans to work with NNALEA to customize and deliver training and resources on emerging topics specifically aligned to meet the unique challenges of Native American law enforcement.

“As complex financial and cyber crime continue to arise, specialized training is needed to meet the unique needs of Native American law enforcement personnel,” said Glen Gainer, President and CEO of NW3C. “We are excited to partner with NNALEA to design tailored training and resources to build officers’ capabilities and further their law enforcement mission.”

“Native American communities and their respective law enforcement personnel who are tasked with serving and protecting those communities, face unique challenges arising from complex financial and cyber criminals,” said Gary Edwards, CEO of NNALEA. “NNALEA is pleased to partner with NW3C to tailor training and resources designed to assist in combating those challenges.”

NW3C, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, has been a nationwide support system for law enforcement and regulatory agencies tasked with the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of economic and high-tech crime for over 40 years.
