This course provides law enforcement personnel with an overview of the various
elements involved in the crime of human trafficking. The course covers the major
types of human trafficking, the scope and extent of human trafficking, and
resources for law enforcement who encounter human trafficking. Topics include
physical and behavioral indicators of human trafficking, trafficked victims’
rights, the elements of a human trafficking operation, and information about
several federal and private organizations making efforts to combat human
