What has not changed on the motor vehicle in over 125 years? If you answered, “The stamped metal license plate” you are correct! The digital license plate (DLP) of today can do so much more, and you can learn all about it on as we break down this new technology.

Digital license plates are here with an array of features, including GPS, Bluetooth, RFID (radio frequency identification) and a cellular modem. This webinar will cover the built-in technologies, how they will affect every law enforcement officer in the country and take a deep dive into DLPs, LPRs, security features, Amber alerts, stolen vehicle features, and Reviver Legal Compliance.

In this webinar on DLPs, participants will learn how this new digital platform enables the digitization of your registration renewal process and streamlines it in two quick clicks through an encrypted app. Through the app, you can pay your registration and watch your digital plate update itself soon after. No more standing in line or waiting for your stickers in the mail.

Key concepts covered in this webinar include:
• Geofencing: Establishing enforceable boundaries
• Park Mode: How to keep your vehicle safe while parked
• Find My Car: How to locate your vehicle
• Valet Parking: Stop joyrides
• How DLPs can mitigate auto theft in your community.
• Information that is available to law enforcement and how law enforcement needs to request the information

Presented by:
